fallen_stageSeeing as I'm taking OU Kuja, this guy is ridiculously overpowered. So this will be two-fold.
First up is his boss-strong magical abilities, such as Flare, Meteor, Holy, etc. For every fight, I'll link to this post so we can hash out the circumstances and what's alright.
Second, Kuja is able to withstand a Megaflare from Bahamut - an attack that can destroy a city - point blank with only a scratch on the head. This means he's a Made Of Iron godmodding bastard. Again I'll link for any altercation, but feel free to pre-emptively say "don't do this to me" or "my character would negate this".
Lastly, since Kuja has dealt with and manipulated souls and their by-products, he can sense them on some basis. By default I'll have it be just be "yep you have a soul", and if he concentrates within contact, he can tell how strong someone's emotional capabilities are - are they filled with rage, sorrow, joy? How strong? That sort of thing. So, if you want to opt out or make it stronger - say, to the point of personal identification - that's fine, too.

Soul: Kanji's emotional capacities are a bit complicted - in the game a big deal was made about Shadows which are a part of themselves going out of control and Kanji's was pretty much EMOTIONAL OVERLOAD (also totally gay haha).
Kanji is all about passion. Passion for his friends, passion for punching, passion to protect those he cares about. Because of the events in the game, he;'s also self-accepting for who he is, and can use a Persona in battle. He's also fought against another occupant in the tower, Izanami who was the final boss in the game. Due to this, be believes in the power that humanity and just a few people together and change the world. You know...hero stuff.
He also like super fluffy things and sews, cooks and cleans the house, things that he has been more accepting about himself, but still cause him slight embarrassment, because of the fact he's a 6 feet tall guy who looks like he could kill you with one glance..now sew you something.
Whatever his soul is filled with (perhaps rage right now becaues of Kuja), it's always turned on to 11.

Date: 2012-04-06 05:05 am (UTC)As for practicality.... Alright, Kanji could most likely not be smushed by Kuja, ehehe. I think in dealing damaage, Kanji would be strong enough to have to deal with, but not a total beatdown. Kuja needs a party, after all...
