Seeing as I'm taking OU Kuja, this guy is ridiculously overpowered. So this will be two-fold.

First up is his boss-strong magical abilities, such as Flare, Meteor, Holy, etc. For every fight, I'll link to this post so we can hash out the circumstances and what's alright.

Second, Kuja is able to withstand a Megaflare from Bahamut - an attack that can destroy a city - point blank with only a scratch on the head. This means he's a Made Of Iron godmodding bastard. Again I'll link for any altercation, but feel free to pre-emptively say "don't do this to me" or "my character would negate this". 

Lastly, since Kuja has dealt with and manipulated souls and their by-products, he can sense them on some basis. By default I'll have it be just be "yep you have a soul", and if he concentrates within contact, he can tell how strong someone's emotional capabilities are - are they filled with rage, sorrow, joy? How strong? That sort of thing. So, if you want to opt out or make it stronger - say, to the point of personal identification - that's fine, too.

1. Hello fellow boss-level godmode! Allen here can teleport, turn intangible and put up indestructible force fields (not to mention one of his alternate forms with the auto-shielding feature), so he'll be able to take it.

2. He would probably shrug off Allen's normal attacks, but he can also warp space if he needs to and has a couple ways of dumping an enemy's defense.

3. Feel free to notice he's dead and pretty much just a soul. On the emotions side, he has strong determination but also significant ammounts of regret and sorrow.

Quick question though: how does the space warping to dump defense work? =oa

That's a separate ability, sorry XD; He fights with lots of status effects and usually dumps a few debuffs on his enemies before he actually starts attacking.

Oooh, I see. Kuja's normally immune to everything but Slow and Darkness... do you want him vulnerable to Allen's debuffs?

Nah, he just uses standard status effect stuff. He does have a few that don't have equivalents in FFIX, though, if I recall correctly. There is no status effect there that causes people to take any damage they deal, right?

Not unless it's a spell bounced by Reflect (and Kuja's Flare Star isn't affected....).

So, maybe Kuja isn't immune to status that doesn't exist in FF9

Sounds fair. And likewise Allen wouldn't have any defense against status effects that don't exist in Xenosaga, like berserk.
